names, names, names
Dec. 13th, 2005 12:14 pmJust getting opinions on the name; Saphire.
My boyfriend and I are considering this name for our next baby, if it's a girl of course.
What middle names do you think would sound nice with it?

Date: 2005-12-12 11:50 pm (UTC)I like the idea of it, like the sound, like the way it looks, love the gemstore.... but somehow I don't really like it as a name. It has a bit of that unfortunate stripper/showgirl feel. :(
I'd do something pretty traditional and non-trendy as the mn.
Spelled Saphire, it's a big thumbs down for me.

Date: 2005-12-13 11:13 am (UTC)Fortunatly i was not, as there is a very extroverted, infamous transvestite who lives in my area who goes by the name of Sapphire...he/she wears crazy things & does.. crazy things.
Apart from that i do like the name! I think you would need a normal, (boring! but pretty) one syllable middle name to counter balance though.
Sapphire Grace
Sapphire Rose
Sapphire Hope
Sapphire May
What about name Saffron for an alternative?
