Aoife (pronounced EE-fa), an Irish name meaning beauty/beautiful.

Heard it recently at my job.

I'm not going to try to get pregnant again for at least a year, but I've been thinking about what I would name another girl. I'm having trouble thinking of names I like that go well with my daughter's name. Her name is Aurelia May. I never realized how many names I liked that ended in -ia until I thought about how they were probably all out due to rhyming silliness.

If you had a child named Aurelia, what would you name her? Maybe some fresh perspectives will give me some ideas. Or maybe my next child will be a boy and I won't need to worry about it. =) Bonus for Italian or Polish names, as one of the reasons we picked Aurelia is because it was commonly used in both places and I'm of Polish heritage and my husband Italian. Baby would have a very Italian last name.

My roommate's girlfriend is at my house, and we happened to be watching TLC. 19 Kids and Counting just came on, and we started talking about how all the kids names all start with J. She mentioned that she knows a family who has four boys, named:

Tyler
Tyson
Taylor
Tanner

Wow. Just ... my mom mixes mine and my sister's names up all the time, and they're nothing alike! These parents must be so tongue-tied! 'Come here, Tay - Ty - Tan - Tyson!'

Babies born in the family this year and my relation to them:

Caleb Machai, born February 4 (second cousin)
Dane Matthew, born April 23 (cousin)
Destiny Renee, born May 27 (neice)
Evalee Lynn, born June 3 (neice)

I am indifferent towards Caleb and Dane. I don't like Destiny at all. I wasn't a fan of Evalee (ev-uh-lee) when my sister first mentioned it, but it's grown on me over the past month. Her middle name is Lynn after our mom who passed away.

Mary Juana. It was originally told to me as a joke... like marijuana, but for some reason, I can't help but think that this name is EXTREMELY creative :\ Is that weird?

Other (more normal) names I like would have to be:

Girls:

Penelope
Delilah
Margot

Boys:

Billie Joe
Eli
Cassie ( 'a'pronounced like in the word 'at')

Tell me what you think :]
