I know someone called Ilaria! She's Italian. She pronounces it Ee-LA-ree-ah though =)

I like Walter. It's actually a family name, but I don't think I'd like it if not for Walter Blythe in the Anne of Green Gables books. He was always one of my favorite characters.

Ilaria is pretty, but when I see it, or Hilary, I always think about how my baby name books say it comes from the same root as "hilarious." And how that's such a weird connotation for a name.
