Rosalie: From French ROSALIA

Gender: Feminine

Usage: Italian
Late Latin name derived from rosa "rose". This was the name of a 12th-century Sicilian saint.

This makes no sense. Why is my name from the French Rosalia, which has Italian Usage? Does it actually mean that Rosalie is the French form of Italian Rosalia? I cringe to think how the French pronounce it...

I am fascinated with my middle name now. I used to hate it. I only knew about Queen Margaret.

Help with a girls' name!

I am expecting my 2nd baby in August. It's a surprise, and we already have a 5-year-old daughter, Jordana Mary (Yohr-daun-a). For a boy, we have decided on Zachary Josiah (not the best flow, but both have personal meaning). We're not sure if we want to stick with a "J" theme, so please suggest names from all letters of the alphabet. We have decided on Theresa as the middle name. Our last name is Ziegler.

Im now pregers with identical twin girls and having a really hard time trying to come up with manes for them both..
I want Madison & Emily but my husband is totally agaisn't Emily so now hear i am stuck and lost :(
I have 2 other kids named Damion & Makayla but i want something thats a lil rare like those also..
Can someone please help me think of another name that would go nicely with Madison..

My cousin Talitha is having a daughter who she plans to name Shoshana Carleigh.

I dont like it. At all. I told her that the name doesnt appeal to me at all, but she wouldnt stand for it. Maybe it will grow on me, but I'm not sure.

As for names I suggested-
Kirie: Ky-ree. I am a mommy's helper for three little girls, one of which's name is Kirie Nicole. I dont exactly like Nicole, but I adore Kirie.

Adéla: Another one of the girls I am a mommy's helper for is named Macie Adéla. I LOVE it, especially Adéla.

Tallie said she'd consider them at least a tiny bit, but she doesn't seem to like them.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to names like Shoshana or Carleigh that she might like?
