Is the name Rey (for a boy btw) too nicknamey to be a name by itself? I'm starting to become attached to this name but hate most of the names that have Rey as a nickname, boo!

Sooo... perhaps some suggestions from you guys would be helpful. Thankies!

Depends. Here in the Philippines it's in fairly frequent use by itself, and not just as a nickname. But then again "Rey" means "king" (el rey, la reina) in Spanish, so... :P

I think it is, and I prefer Ray. Rey looks like a typo to me.

Rey looks feminine to me. I would go with Ray. I don't think it's nicknamey.

I know, but that's the way it looks to me.
