I'm not having a baby yet. (That I'm aware of anyway!) But I too really love names.
If I ever have a daughter her name will be Audrey for Audrey Hepburn. I'm not sure on a middle name yet. But seeing as how I'm not even pregnant I'm not so worried about it. :)
My favorite name for a boy is Sebastian. My boyfriend doesn't really like it though. He says that if we have a son, his name will be Thomas after his grandfather. That's fine with me too, it's just not my favorite.

I read in an earlier post that not many people like the choice of "Apple" for a little girl. But when you think about it... is it REALLY that bad? I mean, people have named their children "Clementine." That's also a fruit. I would personally never name a child either of those names. But there are plenty of other names that are more KNOWN names that I dislike very much more than those names. For example, I don't think I'd EVER name a son "Enoch." I just don't like the way it sounds.

I will not have kids for a long time [hopefully!], but I have a thing of staying clear from names of friends I had growing up.

For example I really like the name Georgia but I had a best friend for many years named that. She was nice, but I would feel weird naming my daughter that.

I also like the name Grace but I had a horrible friend named that in 6th grade so I will never ever give my daughter that name.

Do other people feel like this? Or do I just have problems letting go? ; )
