i have it set up as the mother/father on the top, in bold. their children below them, then their childrens spouse-- their kids.
note: i don't think that some of these are nicknames, because the 'full name' (ie: Lillian, Charles, Richard) are spelled out, so i don't think they'd put fullnames for some and not others. so i'm assuming these are all full names, not nicknames.

Frank and Lillian
  • Anne
    • Frank-- Peter, Frank, Robert.
  • Mary
  • Ernestine
    • Charles-- Charles, Lillian.
  • Martha
    • Richard-- Janet, Blair, Mary, Stephanie.
  • Frank
    • Elizabeth-- Betsey, Rebecca, Teddy.
  • Bill
    • Jean-- Lillian, Bill.
  • Lillian
    • Donald-- Julia, Dodge.
  • Fred
    • Jessie-- Susan, Frank, John.
  • Dan
    • Irene-- David, Danny, Peggy
  • John
    • Dorothy-- Peter, James, Deborah

I'm relatively sure that Bob, Fred, Bill, Teddy, etc. (and possibly Frank) were all short for something else, but they're probably listed as that because that's what they were called ALL the time, whereas Ernestine or Charles or Robert might have gone by their full names.

I like Frank, Anne, Peter, Mary, Charles, Martha, Elizabeth, Theodore but not Teddy, Fred (I prefer the full Frederick, though), Julia, John, David, James, and Jane.

I don't like Barbara, Deborah, Peggy (I've never understood how this was a nickname for Margaret, either, haha), Bob, Susan, Lillian, Ernestine, Richard, Blair, Stephanie, or Janet.

I think it's kind of nice that Elizabeth's daughter was named after her, but their son wasn't named after his father -- way to buck the system, man! :)
