I'm trying to find some boys names that start with L, that arent all plain and boring. My boyfriend's name is Larry which I think is the plainest name in the world. We want to keep with the same initals so I need a L name for a boy...and I'm all sick of Laurence and Lance... are there any decent boys name's that start with L?

I was thinking Lamore to be prononuced la-more-ray...I think it sounds kinda cute..but it might be too feminie for a boy...+ it has amore in it for love...am I crazy??? :)

I love reading all these names.

I am 28 years old, 34 weeks.. due January 16th, 2005.

Hubby and I have fought a LOT about baby names, but have finally agreed on the names below. (We're not finding out what the sex of baby is until he/she is born) Surprises are fun! :D

I just wanted to see what kind of reaction I could get from the names.
I am NOT easily offended and want honest reactions.

Thank ya'll in advance! :D

*sigh* I actually just had to ban two people. I NEVER thought I'd have to ban people from a baby names community because they wanted to start drama! But alas, I did. We won't tolerate drama here, it's annoying. Anyway, good riddance, and lets please get back to the naming! That is what we're here for, after all.

♥ your anti-drama MOD :o)

Okay, well - I technically suck. Evidently my b/f and I are having some crossed wires. I thought the name we wanted was pronounced

"Ah ree ella"

Where as he thought it'd be pronounced

"Ah rail lee ah"

So I like his pronunciation better. We could call her "Railey" for short. Just wondering which pronunciation was preferred here. LoL - I like that his version doesn't bring connotations of nipples to mind. ;0)

We'd spell it Aureillea as opposed to Aureilla. I do understand that I'd be dooming my child to a lifetime of having to spell and explain her name - but we think that's a better course of life than to name her "June" lol. Besides I know a Noelle who constantly has to correct people on how to say her name, so there are no guarantees that people will always say your name right.

Oh, and we decided we would spell Nouveau as the word for "new" and not as Neuveau as in the last name of the actress we first got the name from.

My boyfriend likes the name Kelsey Anderson for a boy, but I was actually thinking of Anderson for a first name. I like Anderson Blake or Anderson Blair, but I'm still in the brainstorming process. Any ideas for a middle name?
