I went to school with a girl named Shaina

She has 3 older sisters, twins Sheena and Shauna and one other, Shona (I'm not sure of the spelling but it's pronounced Show-na).

And they have a little brother..Shane

So: Shaina, Sheena, Shauna, Shonna & Shane.

It's amazing the things you get used to. This doesn't even seem that weird to me anymore.

WDYT? Do you know any families that named their kids this way?

it's weird but funny. i would chalk it up to them having a good sense of humor.

See, I think it's funny for about five minutes, but when the kids have to live with these names and the jokes about it for at least 18 years while they all live in the same house, it stops being so funny and gets kind of ridiculous.

I'm a triplet, my name is Kimberley and my two brothers are named Kelly and Kyle.

I've never thought it was two bad, especially some of the other oes I've heard.

I love that triplet combination and I second Kelly as a fantastic boys name...in fact I much prefer it as a boys name

I heard of a family who named their kids Nicole, Ticole, Picole and Alvin. Alvin was the only girl. I don't know if the person was making it up though.

Surely that was very confusing for them? I bet whenever their parents called one of them, they all came.

I like Shane and Shaina, but they're WAY too close to be siblings. I have a friend name Shana who pronounces it Shauna; I prefer this spelling (probably because my friend is awesome), but I always want to pronounce it as Shane-uh. I don't like Sheena or Shona at all, because it looks like they're stretching it to make it fit the mold.

I know a family of three Filipino boys

Leonard
Leomar
Leonel

They were all nicknamed Leo at school. At home they all have Filipino nicknames.

I used to work in a medical office. We had a family with 8 children who all had the exact same initials. Made filing insurance claims a pain! LOL
