I didnt post much before, but I entered a post asking about a name.

Anyway I got a little sister and my parents and I named her Aylin.
Even though I like it more as Ailyn...

Do you say it A-lin or I-lin?

I knew a (Afgani) girl in school whose name was Aylin, pronounced like Eileen (I-Lean).

Apparently that's the Persian pronounciation?

Same here. I actually don't remember if it was Aylin or Ailyn now, but I remember people calling her Alien all the time. =\

I think the teacher actually mispronounced it and then the kids started calling her that. (This was in 5th grade, mind you.) I still remember her being really social, so I don't think in affected her that much.

How is it pronounced?
I think Ailyn is a little nicer looking than Aylin.
