Anyway I got a little sister and my parents and I named her Aylin.
Even though I like it more as Ailyn...

I think the teacher actually mispronounced it and then the kids started calling her that. (This was in 5th grade, mind you.) I still remember her being really social, so I don't think in affected her that much.

Yeah I think in English it's more like what you said I-lean. But in Russian it's more like AY-lin.

Yes I heard of that name in French. It's really pretty. And it goes in otehr languages too like the nickname could even be Lyn..
