Girlie names

What's your perception of the name Brenda?
I'm not crazy about it, but it could grow on me. Middle name suggestions are appreciated!

I also re-discovered a great liking in the name Azra, I've heard it in a slavic movie about gypsies (love!) and it stuck with me. Too bad I can't pronounce it, I keep saying Az-dra, especially in italian. It's weird because I don't have trouble pronouncing Ezra!

I'm not much on Brenda. It seems kind of dated to me, like Jennifer or Tiffany or Michelle. Strangely, I love Brenna, though.

Yeah I agree =)

I get the same kinda dated feeling too. :/ It's not a horrible name but its not on my list. It for some reason made me think of a woman i work with who's name is Dottie.

I like Azra and Ezra :) Its weird the diff feelings I get from then even though its only one change of letter haha

Brenda is okay, but I only know Brendas who are 40+, so I think of it as kind of an outdated name. It's not really one of those classics that will be brought back, or that could work even though it's 'old'.

I prefer Ezra to Azra. Azra looks like a typo of Ezra.

I'd use it just because people are saying its outdated.

I'm not a fan of Brenda.

I like Azra a lot, though.

I didn't really mind Brenda until the last few years, though it was never a favorite; it now has a very bad association for me, so I would never use it.

Azra is beautiful.

I think the name Brenda is dated, but I also know someone under the age of 20 named Brenda, so what do I know? I do know that I would never actually name my kid that. I do like Azra though.

Brenda reminds me too much of Shannon Dogerty (sp?) on 90210.

I like Brenna though.

Azra is cool.

I know an Azzrah (she's Indian), I like it spelled better that way.

Brenda I don't really fancy at all.

Is Ezra/Azra traditionally a girl's name? I know a boy named Ezra.

I really like Azra! I've always kind of liked Ezra too. Is it a female or male name?

It's not my personal style but I see the benefits of this name. It is classic sounding and its been around a while so you know it won't go out of style. It also has some great nicknames, like Bren or Brennie. I think it's cute!

Azra sounds like something you take if you have a problem in your urinary tract.

Brenda is eh... but only because it reminds me of an old woman who used to live next to us, and so will always be considered an old lady name by me unfortunately :P

Oh, and I really like Azra.
