For some reason I have fallen in love with the name Kate this week. Not Katie or Kaitlyn or Kathrine or anything; just Kate. I don't know... and I can't think of any middle names I like with it.

That's weird b/c that name (but "Cate") started getting to me, too. I've been thinking about it a lot.

Since Cate/Kate is such a simple, classic monosyllabic name, I like something more exotic/uncommon/longer as a middle name.

My ex best friend's name is Kate Elyse. She loves her name but gets pissed when people CONSTANTLY ask her what it's short for and act surprised that it's her full name. Gah.
