What do you all think of the name Breadan? only spelled Breydan.

The only way I like the name spelled is Braden. And the name is so horrendously popular and trendy, I don't even particularly like that way, either. Breadan and Breydan are both definitely worse, though.

Way too trendy & I don't think it grows too well. I really don't like these spellings, either. I can't get past the Bread in Breadan.

Extra vowels just look bad, sorry :/ It's kinda the new way to spot a trashy name from a mile away. Just look for the misuse of E's and Y's and I's.

I don't like any of the rhymey names that are trendy right now - Braden, Jayden, Cayden, Aidan - but Breydan is particularly bad to me because a "brey/"bray"" is the sound a donkey makes.

it depends on the pronunciation you're going for. i think both of those will be often mispronounced.

is it bray-den, bray-dan or bread-in?

we are doing the same thing with my mom and our first child wether it is a boy or girl. i'm looking for some names beginning with jo that we like.

i like this site because you can put partial names in the advanced search and come up with matches http://www.babynamesworld.com

i like brendan, is that close enough? are you doing the first name or middle name, or does it matter?

That's a lovely reason but honestly I like Brendan (Brendan Andrew in fact, if you want a MN) much better (and it's much closer to her name).

I think Bray(ae, ey,whatever)den is a hideous name no matter how it's spelled. It reminds me of a donkey (bray) and it's just SO unattractive sounding. I don't care for Brandon or Brendon but they are miles better than Brayden.
