Date: 2008-01-12 06:29 pm (UTC)I'm not sure which I like best out of Rosalyn/Rosaline/Rosalind, but at the moment it's Rosalyn!

Date: 2008-01-12 06:14 pm (UTC)The rest are all alright, in my opinion, the only ones I really don't like are Harriet and Gethin.

Date: 2008-01-12 06:31 pm (UTC)I'm not keen Rhoslyn as I knew someone with the name, and I didn't really like her!

Date: 2008-01-12 07:04 pm (UTC)Haha, I'd say stick with Rosalyn then. I never met anyone called Rhoslyn. I'm guessing you're actually in Wales though, judging from your LJ name? =P Then it isn't so unusual to meet someone called Rhoslyn, I guess.

Date: 2008-01-12 07:06 pm (UTC)Haha, yeah I am. Although I never really met many people with very Welsh names! I've only ever met one Rhoslyn!

Date: 2008-01-12 06:46 pm (UTC)1. Theodore - Love it!
2. Gethin - Never heard of it, but I looked it up, and it's Welsh, and I believe you're in Wales, so there you go.
3. Jack - It's not horrible, but I much prefer it as a nickname, and it's insanely popular. There are just so many little Jacks running around. Not to mention the Jacksons, and the Jakes. :-\
4. Edward - Love it! I'm not crazy about Eddie either, but still.
5. Caspian - Not really my taste, but definitely not bad.
6. James - Classic and sturdy, even if it is popular.
7. Julian - Okay.
8. Benjamin - For some reason I don't like this name... it seems really common or something. But once again, it's not a bad name.
9. Alexander - Nice.
10. Rhys - I love Rhys as well!
Girls
1. Imogen - This used to be one of my favourite names. How are you pronouncing it?
2. Elizabeth - Classic, elegant, just all around great.
3. Eleanor - Basically what I said for Elizabeth, haha. Beautiful name.
4. Alice - I used to dislike it, but it's really been growing on me. Simple but pretty.
5. Jane - This is my favourite name right now, partly because of Jane Austen.
6. Rhiannon - I like it.
7. Harriet - Wouldn't use it, but it's pretty good.
8. Rosalyn - Very nice, although I prefer Rosalind.
9. Emma - Beautiful.
10. Sophie - Not for me, but very nice.
I also love Henry, Nathaniel, and Felicity. Your list is pretty amazing. My absolute favourites, though, would be:
Theodore, Edward, James, Rhys, Henry, Nathaniel.
and
Elizabeth, Eleanor, Alice, Jane, Felicity.

IM-ah-jen. Sort of. I'm horrible at spelling things out!

Date: 2008-01-12 06:49 pm (UTC)1. Theodore -I know a Theodore who goes by Teddy, I think it's cute
2. Gethin -I have never heard this name before! I don't really care for it, it sounds like someone trying to talk with a lisp
3. Jack -I have no problem with the sound of this name but I find it pretty trendy right now
4. Edward - Love it! And I don't think anyone would call him Eddie if you didn't
5. Caspian -Love it too, this is a guilty pleasure name of mine
6. James -classic
7. Julian -It's nice
8. Benjamin - I love it, but it's my husband's name so I am biased :)
9. Alexander -blah
10. Rhys -I don't care for the super Welsh names
Girls
1. Imogen -I like the way it looks more than the way it sounds if that makes any sense
2. Elizabeth -classic and lovely
3. Eleanor -My husband and I's agreed upon name for our first daughter so yeah I like it :)
4. Alice -love it, wish my husband did too
5. Jane -like it alot
6. Rhiannon -like it alot
7. Harriet -I can't get behind this name, it's just so maiden aunt to me
8. Rosalyn -I hate names that end in lyn but I do like Rosalin, Rosaline, Rosalind etc
9. Emma -it's cute but I'm sick of hearing it on every baby I know
10. Sophie -I love this too, so much! I would use it myself but it's my husband's cousin and my good friend's grandmother's name that recently passed and I am giving her dibs on it even if she's never asked

Date: 2008-01-14 05:33 pm (UTC)Elizabeth, Eleanor, Jane, Rosalyn, Emma, Sophie, and Juliet are all on my favorites list, as well. Imogen was my favorite name for years, and it's not on my top list anymore, but I like it a lot. Alice, Rhiannon, Carys, and Felicity are very pretty, too. Harriet makes me think of Toni Collette being so awkward and goofy in Emma. I don't like it. I don't like Alexa or Marilyn much, but they could be worse.
