1. I've been thinking about names a lot lately because I'm working on a story, and I've come up with some I like but I'm not sure I'd use (for a child, not a character). Maybe some of them as middle names, but not first. WDYT?

Adelaide (nn Addie)
Genevieve (nn Genny, Evie, or Vieve)
Aurelia
Guinevere
Hannelore (nn Lore or Hannah)

2. Just for the heck of it, do you have any name/combo suggestions based on the names in my list?


3. What are some names that would have Kate as a nn, other than Kathryn and Katelyn (or their variants)?

My name is Kate :D
I like Katya/Katia/Katja as a longer name.

A friend of mine is called Hannelore! =) It's a pretty name, IMO.
Adelaide is too place name-y for my taste.
Aurelia is pretty, but not my style
Guinevere is ok.
I really don't like Genevieve.

How about Katinka? It's Greek and means 'pure'. Katenka is another variant.
