So my boyfriend and I are expecting on March 23. Oh god, that is so soon. And you would think that by now we would have picked out a name that we could both agree on. But no, that would make our lives far too easy.

Anyway, here is a list of the names that we have picked out for our son. I, personally, like Beckett the best. He liked Jackson the best. And we can both sort of agree on Broderick, but neither of us are stoked about it.

There are no middle names on there, because we can't agree on that either, but I figure we should take baby steps and start with the first name and then move on to the middle.

VOTE on my Name List

Or if you have a suggestion that you think would go along with those names (as you see none of them are SUPER traditional names like Mark or Matt or John) then feel free to comment and let me know what you think. And if there's one that you really really like then you can comment and be 'OMG! I LOVE ETHAN GLEASON THE BEST!' And then I would appreciate you even more.

Two names that I like are Everett and Zachary. I know more options aren't necessarily helpful right now, but I think either would be a nice middle name with most of your list, or a good first name with most of your list a middles...

I like Beckett, Jonah & Oliver best.
I don't think the names ending in -an or -on sound very good with your last name. Especially not Jackson, since then you have 'son' twice.
Good luck agreeing on something! ;)

i really like:
Jackson Beckett Gleason
Berkley Carter Gleason
Warrick Owen Gleason
Beckett Oliver Gleason

(i think ethan gleason and liam gleason have too similar an "EE" sound.. kind of makes it like a tongue twister and hard to prn..)

I think Jackson Gleason sounds like Jackie Gleason... plus very singsongy. It's my least favorite.

Jonah is my favorite, followed by Oliver.

... but does he not think he'll have to at least deal with adults to whom he introduces his son? Ah, men! Heh.

Well, WE all know who Jackie Gleason was, and his show was off the air before our PARENTS even saw it...

Liam Gleason sounds exactly like Liam Neeson, not that that's a bad thing. my favorite from your list is Beckett.

Hehe, my daughter was born February last year, and she didn't have a proper name until she was three days old. She was just 'baby' or 'A' (both our name choices began with A).

I love Owen (no surprise, that's my son's name), Ethan, and Jonah, and they flow very well with your last name.

Some names I feel fit in with any of those names and your surname: Elliot, Jeremy, Lovel, Amidor (My son is Owen Amidor ;)

Best wishes!

Beckett is my favorite, and it sounds good with Gleason. I personally wouldn't choose anything that ends in "on" or "an" because it is the same ending as the last name.

I love the name Jackson but it doesn't really work with your last name. I think the best is Jonah Gleason, but Beckett is good too!

I adore Ethan, not so much the middle name.
I also really like Liam, Owen, Oliver and Blake (but I'm not a fan of Blakely)

Ethan Gleason makes me want to say Ethan Gleethan.

I like Jonah, Beckett, Foster, Oliver, Spencer, and Owen.

Someone already said this but when I read Liam Gleason I could figure out why it sounded familiar and then I realized it was because it sounds like Liam Neeson. lol

Good luck choosing a name!

Well, even completely ignoring the Jackie Gleason reference, if he remains stuck on a Jack name i wouldnt go for Jackson because of the 'son' at the end of both names.

FINALLY, someone with my birthday! I don't know ANYONE else with a March 23 birthday!

How about Garrett, Trevor, Parker, Carson, or Bryce? Just names off the top of my head. I really like Garrett.

Ah, last name Gleason? Scratch Carson and Bryce. Garrett, Trevor, and Parker still sound good though!

I voted on your list, but I also wanted to comment. I'm due March 12, and we just picked out a name for sure about a week ago. We've had a girl name picked out since I was about three months along, but no boys name. = ( I would suggest a name to him, we'd like it, and then a week later, I'd decide I didn't like it. So I just wanted to let you know you're not alone about not having a name, but being due soon!

On your list, my favorites are Carter, Broderick, Oliver, Blake (not really a fan of Blakely, but Blake is really cute), Spencer and Owen. I know I didn't narrow it down too much, but those are my favorites. I think Carter would sound good as a middle name with a lot of the names you have on here, also. = )

Good luck on the name and delivery!!
