Just vote on the name you'd use if you had to choose from the English, American, and Australian top 10's..
some of them are the same.. so maybe you'd use the same names from all of them, or maybe not..
Just interested really.. since most of us that post here would never consider anything from the top 10.

ENGLISH LIST
[Poll #1115944]

[Poll #1115945]

AMERICAN LIST

[Poll #1115946]

[Poll #1115947]

AUSTRALIAN LIST

[Poll #1115948]

[Poll #1115949]

little fact..
There were 419 Ella's born in 2006 in Australia(the #1 name) compared to 21,118 Emily's in America (the #1 name)

Population size is rather obvious!

I really like Australia's Top 10 boys names as a whole list.

This was fun.

I always think of Australia as having a lot of people - probably because I live in a big city - but I guess compared to the US and the UK we really don't. We're exclusive, ha.

I had no problem picking, all the names I picked were in my top 10, haha. I guess I'm pretty boring.

They may be popular, but they're (almost) all very nice. I had a hard time choosing.

i like all of these names except Jessica, Oliver, Harry and Alfie. Name popularity does not really factor into what i will name my kids. Most of my favorite names are on the top lists anyway.

Oh really? Whereabouts did you go? I'm glad you loved it - I would too!

Ha, I take it you liked Byron Bay? I'm from Melbourne so naturally I think that's the best city in the country. I think you've actually been to more cities in Australia than I have...

Heh, yep, I've been called Amelia since 1987.

Ah, Vermont South. I live on the other side of the city from there (Melbourne is HUGE) but it's a pretty nice area, I think. Well, it was last time I ventured that way... I'm an inner-suburbs girl so don't really get around too much.

Where do you come from?

"Have" to? As in reluctantly? 'Cause I really like some of the names on those lists. :D

For the American lists, I picked Madison and Christopher. For the English and Australian I picked the same names, William and Chloe.

It's weird that more people picked Ethan over William in boy names in American and then William over Ethan in boy names in Australia.

I actually love most of the top 10 names: Emily, Sophie, Amelia, Grace, and Mia and Jack, William, James, Andrew, Ethan, and Samuel are all names I'd love to use if they weren't so freaking popular. I'd debate over using Emily regardless, though. I've loved the name since I was a little kid, so I hate that it's #1.

Yeah, you seem the type to live in Southbank. I bet you also used to live in Keilor, near Overnewton.

By the way, in case you found that too creepy... this is Amelia as in Amelia and Cress.

But I do love being creepy.

I honestly would use probably 95% of the names on these lists, regardless of popularity.

That's because Avalon is out the back of beyond! (My parents live about 15 minutes from there, ha ha!)

It's a silly place to put an airport. At least Tullamarine is near stuff.

I went with:
Amelia
Daniel
Abigail
Matthew
Thomas
Charlotte

The hardest one to chose from was England and Wales's top girls, as most of them are all right, but none of them were names I particularly love.
