GETTYSBURG, Pa. - A central Pennsylvania couple has a new tradition for ringing in the new year: spending it in the maternity ward.

For the second year in a row, Kyle and Becky Armstrong welcomed the first baby of the year at Gettysburg Hospital.

Faith Lynn Armstrong arrived on New Year's Day at 5:23 a.m. Her brother, Kaden Skye, was the hospital's first baby in 2007 , also born on Jan. 1.

What are the odds of that? They should play the lotto.

I don't have a problem with Faith Lynn, but I can do without Kaden Skye. I have never seen Skye as a boy name.

Weird. Not a fan of the names, although Skye isn't bad.

i like the names faith and lynn, but wouldn't use them together... and i would think kaden skye to be a girl's name (because skye is my middle name...). i don't really care for it.

Some articles refer to Kaden as the baby's sister, so I am wondering if the kid IS a girl.

Hah, hope they don't make this too much of a habit.

Wow, I missed that one somehow. My oldest two brothers were born exactly a year apart too, but to throw in first baby of the year (assuming no induction/elective cesarean was involved) that's really something! I really don't like either of the names though.
