Aurelia Jane

My husband hates it. So, I thought I'd try to come up with suitable "nicknames" for the name to try to convince him. :)

What do you guys think?

It's pretty, but if your husband hates it, you might want to suggest something similar. Some alternatives from the top of my head (that sound good with Jane):

Amelia
Aurora
Audrey
Camilla
Celia
Mia

Ooh, so pretty. As for nicknames...hmm...Aura...Riley (stretch), Leah (not as big a stretch)?

And Rilla, which is closer to home than Riley.

I love the name :D it reminds me of Love Actually, to be honest. x3

agreeing with the ones stated above. If you husband hates the name, though, does he like Jane? He can always call her by Jane or some such.

Love Aurelia. I wouldn't shorten it. I do like AJ, if a nickname is necessary.

I *LOVE* the name Aurelia, it is the greatest name ever! I will fight to the death for my future daughter to be named this. My current combo for it is Aurelia Josephine and I like the nickname Ellie Jo. I was going to go with Relie Jo, but my mom said it sounded like Jelly Roll

I love it. I'd go with Lia or A.J. as a nickname, but I'm sure there are others.

i like the nn a.j. :) you could also use elle or leah (or varients of those).
if your husband is absolutely dead set against aurelia and you want to use something similar, you could use aurora or amelia...

I don't like the name Aurelia. Do you know what an aurelia is? It is a cnidarian that looks like this:

Rory?

If your husband hates it you should probably find a different name. Maybe use Aurelia as a middle name.

Lia or Aura come to mind. I love Aurelia.

I dunno about you, but I'm finding Hubby-opinions really irritating when it comes to names. Everyone should think exactly like me, dammit, and especially when I'm pregnant!
