I actually don't think most of them sound 'regal.' To me, regal names are the ones like William, Henry, Charles, etc.

Clayton is okay, but the rest sound too much like last names for me.

Jorian and Rylan both look made-up and I hate both of them. I prefer Ryan to Rylan (it looks like Riley + Ryan mixed together).

I didnt really know how to discribe those sort of names, I kind of meant like, high class, snotty old english type names I guess.

Jorian and Rylan are not made up actually, Jorian is a form of Joren meaning Earth worker. and Rylan is a form of Ryland.

I pronounce Jorian like "JOR-E-IN" if that helps, Im bad at discribing how I pronounce words. I agree, I like Rylan alot better then plain old Ryan.

Generally, I find them tacky. They can occasionally work on a boy, but on girls they reek of trendiness. Blech.

Jorian and Rylan...are rather ugly. Jorian looks like some strange, bastardized version of Dorian and Rylan...simply looks made up.

They're not really high class or snotty English type names though...the closest I can get to snotty rich folk from those names is that a fair number of them live in *a place* called Kensington.

So yeah, they basically all sound like places or surnames to me, I don't like them as first names.

I had a classmate named Remington this past Fall. I always thought about the name as a product name, but after seeing it on him it changed my opinion and I kinda like it now. I also have a friend who just had a baby girl and named her Kensington, because that's where she met her Hubby, at Kensington Cafe.
