We have about 7 weeks to zero in on a girl's name, and for the last few months, we have been leaning heavily towards Aurora. Now my SO is having second thoughts because we can't think of a good middle name for it (who says a baby needs a middle name anyway? :P) I'm stumped. Last name is Settle, and IMO, a good middle name for Aurora would be one syllable and not overused. Two syllables might work as long as it doesn't end in the "uh" sound. Just no Moonbeam, because he's already joked about that, and it's, uh, not happening. He's open to using Aurora for a middle name, but I can't think of a single first name that would work.
If I don't come up with a good one, I'm afraid I'll cave and go with his choice of Victoria Michelle, which although nice isn't really my favorite. I really don't want my child named after my aunt, whom I dislike.

Date: 2005-12-05 02:32 pm (UTC)I also like Aurora Lynn or Aurora Kathryn. I think whatever the middle name is, it needs to end with an 'N'. It just sounds better that way with the first and last names.
