Al, Big Al, Alison Wonderland, Ali, Alligator, have all been used on me. But some of the other ones they listed... Cowison? What? It doesn't even rhyme.

Plus, they give the meaning of Alison as 'Alice's son' which isn't true! If Alison meant 'Alice's son', why would it have been used as a first name for girls? Naming children after surnames was something that happened with boys, and as far as I know, there weren't very many boys named Alison. Allison is a different story.
