I also have a friend named Chance, who has long dreads, wears a big peace necklace and has a rastafarian look going on. 

Do you know anyone with a "unique" name that seems bad on anyone else but suits them perfectly?

My neice is named Kyle Marguerite. I hated it for her entire infancy/toddlerhood.
But now she's 9, and it suits her quite well. She's pretty different from any other 9-year-old girl I know. She devours books like no one else I've known, she wants me to knit all of her clothes, she wears princess crowns and old-fashioned dresses everywhere. She's sweet, but strange. It wouldn't be as cool if her name was "jennifer" or "allison."

I know an 18-year-old girl who's name is Elsa (not such a unique name, but definitely odd for someone that age.) And she's very "spiritual" and all about "mind, body, and soul." Unique personality for a unique name, I guess.

my mom's name is fred. she picked it herself, though, had it legally changed.
and i'm not a fan of the name, or a fan of boy names on girls, but if anyone can pull it off, it's her. she's got a kind of confidence and elegant humor that you don't see much. she's a hippie with too much attitude, a feminist biker chick talking 'bout peace. she's beautiful and silly. it fits.

my sister's name is tabitha, called taffy, and she has a quick temper, stands tall and thin, picks out the most bizarre clothes she can find, and has giant blue eyes and a sweet round face. she's stunning and her name works for her.

he's the EXACT same. loves bob marley, peace, laid back, cool guy. he is one who i don't like his name but i can't imagine him with any other name

my best friend is names Meressa. and though i'm not a big fan of the weird spelling, it's her. its off beat, quirky, and one of kind. she's made me love the name and now i can't think of how else i'd spell it if i were to name a girl. :)
