I was reading up on late actor Richard Farnsworth yesterday. At the time of his suicide, he was 80 and engaged to a 45-year-old. Her name was...Jewely.

He also had a son named Diamond.

I didn't know Richard Farnsworth commited suicide! I remember when he died but I figured it was from a medical condition or just getting older. Wow that's really sad.

I was so surprised when I first heard, because all I could picture was Matthew Cuthbert.

Apparently, he had been diagnosed with terminal cancer. He was in a lot of pain, and if I remember correctly, he left a note saying he didn't want to be a burden to anyone. He shot himself. Even worse, his fiancée found him.
