Hi, am due in ten days and still haven't decided on a name.
Boy's names are so hard!
I like William Jacob but thought it might be a bit old fashioned.
Wdyt?

Jacob is the #1 name of 2006 and William is also in the top 10, so it's definitely not "old fashioned." Both are classic, timeless names that aren't likely to either spike or plummet anytime soon. And better old fashioned than something completely trendy like Ayddin or Brayden or something.

I like it; William is one of my favorites. I would probably use something other than Jacob as a first name, but otherwise I give it a thumbs up.

Not old fashioned!
I love it! More William, than Jacob, but either way, it's a fantastic name.

i like William Jacob, or even Jacob William. it all depends on what you would like to call him :)

will you be using nicknames? if so: William could be Will, Willy/Willie, Bill, Billy, Wills, Liam... Jacob could be Jake, Jay, Coby, Jakey lol.

I like the combination. It's hard to go wrong with strong, classic names. My son is Brian Edward.

You may want to think about names that are complementary to it, in case you're planning to have more kids down the road. Will it go well with a girl's name that you have in mind for later, for instance.

Yep, I get that a lot! Dress to Kill is my favorite DVD out of all the stand-up routines I've seen from him.

William is one of my favourite names. I'm not as crazy about Jacob, but they do go well together.

They've both been in the top 10 or 15 for about a million years. That's not old-fashioned, it's classic, and you can't go wrong.

I love William, but don't like Jacob so much. It's ok though.

I really like William Jacob. What do you mean 'old fashioned'? It's nice.

I was never a fan of Jacob, and it's recent popularity made it pretty dull to me... but William has always been a favorite!
