Looks like there were eight Alisons born in Scotland, and no Allisons. Way to go, Scotland, keep the tradition alive! XD

Ha my brothers name is Leo, and your brothers name is on my list too!

There are lots of names I might use if they weren't so popular, or would use if kids-dad wouldn't let me use my favourites.
I'm sad that Amelia has become even more popular.
With all the Eve's and Eva's that is a lot of potential Evie's on top of the actual Evie's.
I don't get why Jessica is STILL so popular.
Isabelle and Isabella are getting more popular. And with all the variation's on the spellings thats a lot of Izzy's. Thats a name I would like to use if it wasn't so popular.
Damn Phoebe has become more popular too.
Ugh and so has Madison and Maddison, yuk yuk yuk.
My name has really gone down in popularity, which is good/bad.
Amelie and Skye have shot up in popularity. Shame about Amelie, Skye is just suprising!
Zoe and Madeline have gone down, yay! Maybe something to do with Madeline McCann?
It's weird that Shannon is in the top 100. WTF?!

Damnit Dylan is more popular!
But Max has gone down :) So have Callum, Connor and Cameron.
Ellis and Elliot have gone down. Isaac has shot up though :(
Shame Finley has got more popular. And with the Finlay's thats quite a few potential Finn's.
Theo has gone up too :( though it's probably a little to close to my brother's name to use anyway....

Long comment, haha I'm bored!

I like the top 100 UK list much better than the top 100 US list. It's a lot classier, and there are many fewer scary khree8yv names. However, I don't like that so many names - Charlie, Jake, Max, Jamie, Ben, Ellie, Mia, Evie, Katie, Millie - are so nickname-y.

My name, Bethany, is number 50 in England and Wales, though. That's pretty cool, IMO, since Bethany never got below 80-something here in the US.

Thank you for posting this - I've been waiting for the English ones to come :)

My daughter's name (Alexandra, born this year) appears to be on a downward trend. I find is interesting that Olivia got booted out in one year by Grace and Ruby.

Hit post too soon

I don't like Jack at all (much prefer Jacob) and I have no idea why it is so popular, I've yet to meet a child here with that name! Owen (my son's name) has taken a huge 10 place drop compared to most of the boy names that remain the same year on year.
