Dec. 17th, 2007 06:28 pmOkay, so I have a little dilemma. My favorite boy names are Jack, Oliver, Caleb and Adam, but to me they are just too popular. I love them, but I don't think I could use them. So, I thought I'd ask here what some people thought of some names I have thought of and also suggest some other not so popular names. I seem to really love names that end in -er btw. Keep in mind the middle name will more than likely be Manning.
Here are some names from my name list.
Archer, Damien, Deacon, Demetrius, Dimitri, Forrester, Foster, Gideon, Japheth, Josiah, Josias, Judah, Kaiis (kai-us), Malachy, Micah, Nehemiah, Nicolai, Porter, Ryder, Sawyer, Thatcher, Truman
But here are some newer ones that I have thought of recently or saw on SSA:
Cormac, Anders, Simeon (NOT Simon), Makai, Beckett, Milo, Malcolm, Edwin, Westley, Roman, Solomon, Silas, Leland,

Nehemiah, Simeon, Makai, Westley (I like it spelled Wesley, without the t), Roman, Japeth, and Kaiis all make it seem like you're trying WAY too hard to make them 'unique' and they're names that people aren't going to spell/pronounce correctly. However, like I said, the ones I liked are all different without being TOO different, you know what I mean?
I like Leland Manning and Silas Manning a lot.

Simeon reminds me of monkeys for some reason.
