 Hi!

Thought Id give you all a hello, this group seems really fun and interesting. I have been planning and planning and planning on joining this for weeks. My friend got me into it and is here too! [Hi Manda! :D] and just now finally got here, forgive me.

As for my liking in names, I have several. I always look to names for my stories. I write alot, so names are always handy and one thing I am very very anal on when it comes to the perfect name for people.  I also love names just to think of my future kids names, in which I have come across in my mind and changed a half dozen times too.  Anyways..

I wanted to know what you all think of names that are that of virtues. As for the Dever Girls, whom I think are adorable more than anything. They each have a name unique to one, but I think many of you will find them as bad as useing many Y's in one name. If you havent heard of the girls, I shall see what you think.

There's Grace Elizabeth, whom you may have seen on CSI: New York on Halloween, the episode was called "Boo" and has been in many modeling projects, and on my layout. Then, the twins: Hope Eva and Faith Esibella whom have both shared the part of Molly on General Hospital, and also been known as the babies on Desperate Housewives and Ghost Whisperer and many other things, and also seen on my banner. And now they have the newest addition, Joy Emma whom may starring in her first movie soon at almost a month old! All are in my icon, haha. I guess if their mom was going to have a boy, [I have talked to her a few times] his name was to be Caden. What do you think? What boy names are out there as for virtues?

I can already hear all the comments, but I figured Id see what you all take of all the E's and the whole virtue sense to names.

Now, to my own question.. Their are many names that end in IN for boys, but what girl names are out there that actually would look okay and not so odd with the IN ending. Ive been trying so hard to figure one for a special reason. Hopefully you can help me..

Thanks for listening to my babble and hope to get to meet you all, I KNOW I will enjoy this place. Cant wait to get more into everything.

Ashlin
Kaitlin
Jordin (IF you like that name on a girl)

I like viture names, but they tried too hard with the "E" thing, especially with the kre8tv spelling of Esibella. Also, I think Grace's name might be the only one that flows well.

Roisin? It's supposed to be pronounced Rosheen, though =)
Other suggestions:
Christin/Kirstin/Kerstin
Tamsin
Morgain
Jasmin(e)

I like Grace & Faith as names, by the way, but I think it's a little too much when all children have virtue names =)
As for boy's names that are virtues...I only know Andras, which is Welsh for 'grace' =)

*I just thought of another one: Robin =) Technically, it's unisex, but I like it better on girls.
Oh, and Malin, which is Scandinavian! =)

Oh, and I absolutely despise virtue names, especially those with religious connotations.

You could spell Quinn like Quin. That's Tegan and Sara's last name!

I don't like the virtue names at all. I think one name in a family could work, but I really only like Grace and Hope. The others are just...not names to me. And I think having that many in one family is just annoying. I don't think the names work as well on boys.

Esibella is a stretch. There's plenty of E names out there without having to ad Es to other names!

Virtue names are okay, but I wouldn't personally use them. Esibella is awful.

The only 'in' ending name for a girl I can think of that hasn't been mentioned is Marin.

Cannot remotely read this teeny tiny pink font on my gray background friends page.

I met a boy name Justice the other day.
Also, there's a big security guard named Innocent.
Sort of virtuous.
