Lior (pronounced lee-ore). I really like this name. I had a (female) preschool friend who spelled it Lyore. Most people find it masculine it seems but I find it quite feminine.

WDYT?

To me it's unisex (like Liron) but if you want to make it more feminine, Liora is perfectly acceptable as well.

It kind of sounds like liar. I think people would pronounce it that way too (lye-or). It sounds pretty masculine to me as well.

I don't like the look of it but the pronunciation is very pretty. I think spelled Lyore it could be a very good name for a girl.

I like it. Reminds me of Lenore, or just plain Lor, which I also love.

It's unisex, but I don't personally know any boys with it. I know three girls, however, two who spell it Leeor and one Leore.

Also, it's Hebrew, by the way, for anyone who didn't know.

I can't get my thoughts around the pronounciation.

All I can think of is... *SEE ICON* :-)

It's pronounced lee-OR, with emphasis on the second syllable. Eeyore has emphasis on the first.

I like it. I love Liora a million times more though.

I think it looks masaculine, sounds feminine. Also, I can see it getting mistaken for "liar."

it's unisex in my book, but i am of israeli origin and therefore boased. i love the meaning and the pronunciation. it can look a little funny in its various spellings, though. a friend of mine's daughter is named/spelled leeor.
