I came across a name I really love, my SO thinks it is great too.
Olympia.
WDYT? Also, nn ideas besides Pia and Oly. Don't like those.

No, not really. I just REALLY dislike Pia and Oly as nn, so I would want one to whip out if people started using those.

Like...Olympia, WA?
I don't care for it, even without it being a place-name. I'm not seeing any good nn possibilities without sort of stretching, and the (terrible) one that pops out at me is "Limpy."

I don't like it, because the Olympics connotation is too obvious, for me at least.
I love the nn Pia though =)

Olympia was my favorite name when I was five or so. I'm not so fond of it now, though.

Olympia... that's different. Not bad at all, just different :).
Mya (pron My-uh)
Mia (pron Me-uh)
Imp
Lia (pron Lee-uh)
Lya (pron Lie-uh)
Omi (pron Oh-me)
I quite like Pia, though (so long as it's pron Pee-uh).

I know an Imogen who goes by Immy which i think is cute.
Immy could work as a nickname for Olympia i think!

I like it, but in art history, Olympe and Olympia are pseudonyms for whores.
