My best friend from infancy until middle school was named Ahmi Jo (prn like open your mouth and say ahhh-mee).

She always hated her name and "changed" it like once a week, but I think it's kind of sweet. Not that I'd ever name my kids after her, but I think it's an interesting name. Creative but not kr8tv, right?

It's not bad actually... Like a cross between Amy and army. It isn't bad for a kr8tyv name anyway.

Do you know if it's a 'real' name or her parents made it up?

I'm pretty sure it's not a "real" name, but I think she was named after someone her mom knew.

I hate Jo as a middle name. I would never use Ahmi but I don't think it's that bad.

It looks kr8tv, made up, and like a misspelling of Amy. In fact, it reminds me of my aunt's name, Amy Jo.

I don't think it's kr8tiv since it's really not Amy like I had thought when I first read it.
