Hi guys!

Can anyone suggest some middle names for Alba? (no names beginning with S, please)
I sort of feel that this name should be paired with an old fashioned elegant name, but I am definately open to any suggestions as long as they arent the kry8tive kind.

I'm not currently expecting (and my future first child already has a name LOL) but I am just a name freak and I think this stuff is fun! I like to see what other people come up with as far as pairing names. I've paired the name with a few middle names but I like to see what others think. This is a wierd hobby but obviously we all share it!

I was thinking for a girl. I always thought it was a girls name but I guess it could be a boy's name too, so in that case, both. Rather than have everyone debate whether it's a girl or boy name people can just suggest for both, or whichever. I am reading a book and there is a female character named Alba and it just caught my interest :)
There are a ton of names out there that are girls and boys names. For example, my friend's daughter is Trystan. I've always thought of it as Tristan and as a boy's name. Another one is Tyler. I've only met boys named Tyler and then one day I met a girl named Tyler and I had to ask her name again because I was sure I misunderstood her :)

i've never heard of alba as a first name.. so i just guessed it would be a boy.. for a girl i'd have to say:

Just out of curiosity, what is the name you already picked out?

Well it's a good story. My fiance and I were talking about names one day and I asked him what was his favorite girl name and he said Victoria. I was amazed because that was very high on my list of names. For a middle name we picked Jade, so Victoria Jade will be the name of our first daughter, if we have one. Another idea is Victoria May (May is my grandmother) So it's between those two middle names. I like them both equally. We decided on this a while ago, and although Victoria is becoming a very popular name, we've chosen it and at this point it would just feel "wrong" to name a first daughter anything but. For a son we picked Owen Alexander. But believe me, we are not having children for MANY years. This is just stuff we throw around now. I just like to think about names and I like to name other children, although I probably only want one :)

My first name begins with an A and my middle name begins with an S. So if I ever marry a guy with a last name that starts with S and change my name to his, my initials will be A.S.S. Thanks, mum. :P

Actually it does not. My last name starts with a G and my fiance's name (which will be the last name of the future children) starts with an F. I just want to cover all her bases, in case she marries someone with an S name :) Even though this is not actually a name for a child in question. I even cover the bases of imaginary people I am naming. LOL I am quite silly
