[identity profile] fatallyxyoursx3.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames
I posted this on pregnant and somebody there suggested I post it here as well saying that you're all creative and wonderful.

My boyfriend and I are having a hard time picking out a first name for our baby. I'm due April 3 and we gave ourselves a deadline of March 1 to figure out his first name so that we have time to think about it and everything. And that way if he comes early he'll have a name.

So far his name is __________ James Adams. We're trying to pick out a unique name that fits well with his middle and last name. But nothing too odd. It's been pretty dificult. We're thinking strongly about Brent James Adams because we like how it all sounds together and we don't know anybody named Brent. His middle name is the same as his daddy's and we do not want to change that and we also don't want to switch it to a first name.

So my question is, does anybody have any suggestions for first names that fit well with what we have so far??

TIA

Nathaniel James Adams
Blake James Adams
Christian James Adams
Brenton James Adams
Rhys James Adams
Evan James Adams
Aaron James Adams

i looked up the popularity on the SSA website, & names like Nathaniel, Aaron & Evan are on the decline, so not as many people your son's age will probably have them.

I think Brent James Adams is very nice. It's also a plus that you don't know anyone else named Brent.

My husband's middle name is James, also. We've already decided that our first son will be Alexander James...but Alexander is pretty popular, so I don't know if it will work for you.

Other ideas off the top of my head:
Cullen James
Devin James
Garrett James
Trevor James

Really, almost anything you like works. I'm not a fan of the fan the name Brent in general, but that's just me.

Elliot is one of the only somewhat common names (although not so much since the 80s) that I really like despite it's commonality. And I think it goes great with "James Adams."
