babynamesCailan... Is there any way to make this name sound less girly ? I really like the name & it is a boys name but to me it sounds a little bit girly and something that would be harder to carry on in life as an adult... Any opinions ?

Date: 2005-11-21 12:22 pm (UTC)He is indeed very girly (blonde curls, delicate cheekbones and blue eyes...) but I don't think that has anything to do with his name :)
I think Kalan looks "stronger" - definitely less girly than Cailan. No extra i's and frills. It sounds OK to me.
