I immediately think of the god Jupiter.
Iove (pronounced Yo-veh, or probably Yo-vee in English) is the Latin name of the god Jupiter, so...it's masculine to me.

I'd want to say Joe-vuh, not Jo-vee. Jo-vee to me would be Jovie.

I actually think it is--but on her name tag in the movie, is was missing the 'i' so I didn't add it... oops.

It is spelled Jovie in the movie, at one point you can see it on her name tag. I really like it, aside from the fact that it sounds like a nickname and I can't figure out what might be a longer version.

Jovanna (Slavic) or Jovianne (French).

My sister was trying to think of "J" names a few years ago, and unfortunately she didn't remember "Jovie" until after my niece was born. Otherwise that's what she would have named her. I think it's pretty!
