If it matters, she is a twin and I think we've decided on Grayson for her twins name (his middle name will probably be Isaiah or Tyler, to be decided after the birth) Her older sister is Myra Lee. Middle name must stay Mae!!

Oh, I didn't even think about that. Our first girl name was 'Lila' until we realized how similar it is to Myra.

I actually like Adria a lot but my husband really doesn't. I vetoed all of his names immediately so I'm trying to be flexible. Haha, he likes Laney, Ashton, etc. We clearly do not have the same taste. Ah well.

I like Aria better because I love the nickname Ari, but Aria and Myra are too similar, I think. Adia works, too, but I think you might get a lot of people who think it's Ada (which I like better).

I love Ada but my husband absolutely detests it, for whatever reason. We discovered we do not have the same taste in names as he likes things like Laney and Ashton and I like things like Sadie and Vada, etc. Our daughter was given a family name so I guess that's why we didn't realize how different our tastes are. Oh well.

Adia is okay, i think. i'm not really sure how to pronounce it. I think Aria is beautiful.. not too similar to Myra I don't think.

My husband really doesn't think it's too similar, either. I like Adia (ay-dee-ah) better but I am worried that she'll have to constantly correct the pronunciation. I have a name like that and I really do NOT like constantly having to spell it, pronounce it and explain it to people. :-\

It's a similar sound, but they aren't from the same vain of names (Caitlin, Catherine etc..) and I don't think they'd ever get mistaken for one another. Also Aria and Grayson fit really well IMO.
I think I love the meaning behind Aria- Adia doesn't seem like a name to me.. where did you find it?

I think we both probably heard it first in like 1998 because there is an Adult contemporary song titled 'Adia' neither of us really listen to that type of music so it doesn't really stick out too much in my mind. I was reminded of it by babynames.com http://www.babynames.com/name/ADIA and it's in the baby name book we bought so we noticed it there as well. I think I suggested Ada which my husband immediately turned down and then from there I suggested Adia which he likes.

Aria sounds better with the middle/last name, and as a flowy-but-not-matchy twin set with Grayson. I don't think it's too close to Myra at all.

That said, I do like the name Adia; it just doesn't flow as nicely with any of the other names.
