out of that bunch I like Taylor Paige the best...
but I like these combos better? :)

Taylor Shay
Taylor Leigh
Leigh Taylor
Leigh Paige

:) I guess I like your middle names better then your first names? Not overly fond of shay as a first name.. great as a middle name tho.

Just my .02 :)

I like Shay Marie, tho I've always thought Shay Lynne was adorable.

Shay Leigh sounds too short.

Taylor Ray sounds like a boy. So does Shay Taylor, actually.

I love the sound of Shay, but it looks kind of cut off - for a girl I'd prefer Shaye. Or maybeShae.
Shaye Marie is sweet, although if you speak French that sounds exactly like "chez Marie" - "at Marie's place." So the girl might be in trouble if she ever goes to a French-speaking country :)

My favorites? Hm, well, if I just tell you up front, it's just some random stranger's personal preference, right? So let me explain why I chose the ones I did.

Names tend to complement each other better in combination if they have a distribution of rhythms and sounds. When they lack this, the combinations can end up sounding uninteresting and singsongy rather than musical.

The three names below are good examples of this sort of singsongy quality because the stress falls on the first syllable of the first name and the first syllable of the second name, plus this stressed syllable also rhymes (Tay/Pay/Shay/Ray):

Taylor Paige
Shay Taylor
Taylor Ray

To me, the individual names here are fine; they just don't sparkle in combination. So that's why I don't care for these three combos.

Now, Shay Leigh does not have rhyming syllables, but both names have just a do have just a single syllable. If I compare Shay Leigh with the rhythm of something like Annika Leigh, the second is so musical and flowing, and the first just is a little clunky.

So, because of rhythm and rhyme, my favorites of your combos are Paige Marie and Shay Marie. My personal preference would be for Paige Marie, because I think it is adorable on a little girl but would also fit a teen, a career woman, or a grandmother. It's really versatile.

Hope this helps!

Yea, what she said.

Seriously, that was the first thing I noticed about most of these names too -- I dislike the repeated "AY" sound.

The Marie combos sound the best, however the mn Marie is so dull as to practically be invisible. I don't think it does anything to make the combo sparkle.

I really like the name Paige. Not nuts about Taylor or Marie. Shay and Ray seem kind of masculine to me.

2.Paige Marie

I don't like the name Shay at all. I do like Taylor, and out of the names you've chosen, I would use Marie as a middle name.

Shay Leigh
Leigh Paige (Paige is a gorgeous name)
Taylor (or Tayla?) Marie

I really like Taylor Paige and Shay Marie. But, I would personally go with Shae. :)

the only one from that list I can really say doesn't make me cringe is Paige Marie.

1.Shay Leigh - Not a fan simply because it sounds like it could be a first name 'Shayleigh' sort of like 'Kayleigh/Kaylee etc.
2.Paige Marie - Yawn
3.Taylor Paige - Cute
4.Shay Taylor - Doesn't flow at all
5.Shay Marie - Eh
6.Taylor Ray - Taylor Rae would be better

i was scrolling through entries and happened to see my name. My name is actually Taylor Lyn. I think it's so funny how when I was growing up NO GIRLS had the name (i'm 21 now and i hear it ALL the time lol) and so many people would be like, "isn't that a boys name?" and stuff. I never regretted it, because it just made me unique. (tho one of my friends seemed to attract jealous boyfriends and whenever she would say "oh i'm hanging out with my friend Taylor" i'd have to get on the phone and prove I was a girl. : P)

anyways, i like:
3.Taylor Paige

and i agree with the PP about Taylor Rae being better and Shae being prettier than Shay.
