Brena (Bren-ah) Lillian? My ultrasound is tomorrow, not sure if either are female yet but I'm enjoying playing with female names.

Her full name would be Brena Lillian Dealy (pronounced Daily)

Opinions/suggestions appreciated. :)

I adore Lillian (I also like Lillith), though Lily is common these days.

I don't like Brena. It sounds halfway between Brenda (which brings to mind a 60-year-old dumpy sorta lady) and Brianna (I've known a few; they've all been unpleasant people, so I don't like the name).

I don't like Br- names in general. Maybe Bridget, I sort of like.

Lillian Bridget is my remaking of your name.

I love it.. but personally I like Brea or Bree better. However, I would also suggest spelling Brena either Breena or Brenna.

I think Brena Lillian is pretty, but I prefer Brenna. It just looks incomplete without the second "n" to me.

I like the name, but I would spell it with two "n"'s (Brenna).

Agreed.

As you've spelled it, it looks like BREE-nah DEE-ly. Obviously, you're not going to change the spelling of the last name just for convenience, but why spell the first name in a way that will also often need correcting?

Also, I believe you posted before that it was after a song, and it turned out it was pronounced BREN-ya in the song--don't spell it the same if you're not going to pronounce it the same.

That said, it's a beautiful name, and I really like it with Lillian.

I like Brena/Brenna.

I like Lillian, but as a first name. I don't think it flows as well as a middle name

Ooh. Lilith flows better than Lillian in this case.

I prefer Brena with two N's, but it's a beautiful name! Congrats!

I think Brena Lillian sounds really pretty, but I like Brena a lot better spelled Brenna. It just looks like something is missing when spelled with only one 'n'.

I agree, as well. If I named a child Brena, I'd worry people might pronounce it "BREE-nuh."
