My cousin is having her first child (a girl) in January, and finally decided on a name.

Kayleigh Faye

I like Kayleigh. I don't like Faye, but it's a family name apparently...

I'm just not sure it flows very well.

What do you think?

Before I actually read the entry I just saw "January", and I was like, hey, I kinda like that.

But...no. Heh. Kayleigh is a name I really liked when I was six and thought it was really exotic-looking, but now I'm kind of blah on it. I think Kayley is still cute but slightly subtler.

When are people going to get over Kayley? It's already out-dated. Very early 90s.

I much prefer Kylie to any Kayleigh varients, although I don't really like either. So dated.

I hate when both the first and middle names have a hard AY sound. It's a pretty common sound though right now, though the middle name is usually Grace, which I hate even more.

Kayleigh is ok but blah.

Fay/e on it's own is such a striking, uncommon name. I hate how it always gets shoved into middle name filler. It's 10x more interesting than Kayleigh.

I actually really like the name Kayleigh while reading this entry but then as I read it over and over it got quite boring very quickly...lol.

I agree, Faye is a really nice name. Any person named "Kayleigh" is going to have a hard time being taken seriously as an adult. But considering the trends in names right now, she'll be in good company.

Er, rather I agree with the *other commenters* that Faye is nice. I see you don't like it. Oh well. :-)

I love Faye, but I strongly dislike Kayleigh. Especially spelled this way.

I've never been a fan of the first name, also I really dislike "Leigh".
