btw, my grandmother named all her children bilingual names except for my aunt Debbie

I love Arthur, Adrienne, Joan, Donald, and Alain.

My best friend's family is a mix of European French and French Canadian, so these names all look SO familiar to me -- her name is Adrienne and I think she has at least one relative named most of these names.

My grandparents did something similar, they named their kids names that they thought sounded good in both English and French: Gerald, Daniel, Joanne, Lise, Christine.

I like Adrienne, Alain and Marie... but not Anne-Marie because I hated someone called Anna and it has forever ruined that name!
