babynamesThere's a girl in one of my classes named Adawnice. It's pronounced uh-DAWN-iss. And I know it's spelled that way because of the class roster online.
I've never heard the name before, but I thought it was intriguing, so I tried to look it up on baby names sites, but I couldn't find it anywhere; there are only two hits for it on Google.
Has anyone ever heard this name before? Any idea what it means? Just curious, really. I think it's kind of pretty but I'm not in love with it.
Oh, the girl goes by Dawn for short.
