in addtion to my last post--- the names!
Nov. 27th, 2007 09:26 pm& now, names that:
- i had either not heard of (there were a few!)
- found surprising (because i didn't realize they were very popular back then)
- had more kr8yve spellings (Ys thrown in)
- also, some of the meanings for names are WAY different than now (IE: Ryan, as far as i knew meant "Little king", in this book it means "A capable executive" lol!)

Date: 2007-11-28 04:04 am (UTC)My grandmother suggested the name Enoch for my baby(if baby is a boy).. I went crazy. I was like huh? lol.
Van Ness seems so weird to me. It looks like a new alternative of "Vanessa"
Where did you get this book?

Date: 2007-11-28 04:10 am (UTC)it was my grandmother's... i assume she was given it when she was pregnant with my uncle, as he was born Feb. 1967, & it was published in '66.
