My sister-in-law (husband's sister) is pregnant with a girl due in January. What do you think of the names she's chosen?

Ashlynn Danielle S.
Ashylnn Nicole S.

Ashlyn Danielle S.
Ashlyn Nicole S.

My sister is pregnant with twins- they say 1 boy 1 girl and she's due in March here are the names she's chosen (I don't really care for):

Tristan Thaddeus (b)
Kieryn Taikowa (g)... The Taikowa is a family name from our great-great grandma (I think 2 great's)... she's some kind of Indian.

My husband's cousin is pregnant- due February and my brother's wife is also pregnant - due April so I'm sure I'll be back for more opinions ;)

Have a good night!

i always wanted twins-1 boy and 1 girl so i could name them
Nadia (girl) and Aidan (boy) because if you look closely...the names are the same just spelled backwards and forwards! hehe

heh i'm the same way-I usually hate names like that or een worse-rhyming names for twins *shudder* but I really liked these 2 because at first glance you dont really notice and they dont sound alike at all!

ashlyn(n) is a cutesy name if youre into that sort of thing. i dont mind it. but i think if youre going to go cutesy, you cant do the first and middle names as cutesy. i think ashlyn(n) olivia or something would sound better, you know, with a stronger middle name. otherwise its just all ribbons and bows, you know?

i like the name tristan!

I quite like Ashlyn Nicole.
Love Tristin not so sure about the Thaddeus though!
Kieryn is a boys name in my books, its ugly.

Am a purist, so would much prefer Aisling, but I guess Ashlyn is tolerable (for philistines who can't/won't understand even the most basic Gaelic)
Hmm not sure which middle names goes best.

Tristan and Thaddeus are nice names, hmm not sure they quite 'gel' though.

Not mad keen on Kieryn (creative spelling + boys name = FBS). Really like Takiowa though, for its significance, and that it sounds cool.

I don't like Ashlyn.

Danielle and Nicole are both great names.

I prefer Ashlyn Nicole of the combos posted.

I don't think that Tristan & Thaddeus go well together. The hard T and the 'Th' sound clash.

Kieran is a boy's name. Not liking the trendy spelling or giving it to a girl. Why not Kira/Keira?

I know someone who named their daughter Ashlyn, and she's delightful, so I'm a bit biased toward that name/spelling. I prefer Nicole over Danielle for a MN.

Ashlyn/n - I've never cared for the Ash names. Or -lyn names. It's very... fluffy sounding. I like names with a bit more substance.
Tristan Thaddeus - I don't care for a name that means "sad." The mn is nice.
Kieryn Taikowa - Prefer Kiera or Karen.

Some kind of Indian? Is that like some kind of laundry detergent?
Indian from India or Native American?
Kieryn sounds like Kirin which is a beer.
