Sabrina/Sabina

Which one do you prefer between Sabrina and Sabina? (Teenage witch connotations aside :P)
What are possible nicknames? In Italy they would easily be shortened to Sabry and Saby, respectively, but I'm looking for other options. I like Brina for Sabrina but not Bina for Sabina.
Do you think Saby could work for Sabrina?

I know twins names Sabina and Annabel. I always felt like Sabina was missing a letter or something, I thought her mom made it up. However, I really dislike the name Sabrina and I think Sabina sounds a lot better.
