from our census today on my pediatric floor at the hospital...
We had a couple uncommon names today so I thought I'd mention them here just for giggles. I wish I could look up all of their middle names. Some of them are listed, but most of them are not.
Theron (newborn male)
Haven Francine (4 year old female)
Darby (4 year old female)
Navarri Delano (4 year old male)
Leighton (11 year old male)
Mayte Sage (12 year old female)
and Navaeh (3 month old female) -- Mind you, this doesn't spell heaven backwards like the way everyone else on the bandwagon spells it (seriously, I have seen at least a dozen babies in the last two years named Nevaeh). I asked the mom if we spelled the baby's name correctly three times and she said it was correct. It was verified on the insurance card, too. So lol@her for mispelling heaven backwards.

I know a Leighton who's around 20, but I'm not sure I really like the name. He goes by Leigh mostly.
I don't like the rest of the names.

but I don't guess that's a bad thing.

Darby is a dog's name..to me. I grew up next door to a boxer named Darby. I actually kind of like the name on a kid but it still reminds me of a dog.
Maybe the mom just liked the name Naveah and it had nothing to do with it being (almost) Heaven backwards.

I heard the name from the hockey player Theron Fleury

Hm. The internets says it's Greek, and means "Hunter". That's nice.
