i have a feeling it is pronounced like Kate-lynn. i know i've seen other names with "th" in them, but it was just said as if the h was not there.

Well that's the only thing that makes sense to me but it's not like it's a Mathilda/Matilda kind of thing, I can't understand why someone would but a random "h" in there.

Also what's with them having almost the same name, basically the same since Caitlin comes from Katherine.
I guess the parents only like one girl name so they just have to give out two versions of it to their daughters.

yeah, that's what i was thinking of Mathilda/Matilda.

also, i have a feeling some people don't realize where names come from & just slap them on their kids. for instance: Sean comes from John. my friend named her son Sean John lastname. she's the type to use a name "becuz itz key-ute" & stuff, so i don't expect her to actually know where names come from LOL

My cousin is Kathlin with a "th" (pronounced Kate Lynn), but there is an umlaut over the "a" and she was born and raised in Austria -- maybe it's a German spelling?

I don't like.. no matter how you pronounce Kaithlynn(I'd say Kait-lynn). It's just too much of the same for me.. even if they were twins.
