Elisabeth Rohm

So, apparently, Elisabeth Rohm (Serena Southerlyn from Law & Order, 2001-2005) is expecting a girl in April, and, due to a dream that she had, she's decided to name her daughter Easton instead of Grace. Now, I'm not a fan of Grace, but Easton? That poor, poor baby girl. Hopefully she'll have another dream and change the name. :/

Heehee...I totally read that with her last name as "Eastern Room."

I know a little girl with the name Easton - it's her LAST name. Leslie Easton. Now THAT I like.

Well, I had a dream that my house turned into funnel cake, but am I running out to get confectionery sugar? Uh. No.

I like the name Easton, but on a boy. I don't think it's necessarily terrible on a girl, but I prefer it on a boy. I'd probably do the same thing she did, though. Actually, my top boys name is a name that came from a dream I had.

I knew a girl named Easton and I liked it on her. I don't dislike it here.

I could never name a child Easton, because then my husband would accuse me of naming the baby after our stainless flatware (http://table-bar-kitchen-products.getdecoronline.com/23002.html).

Names like that are bad on boys, even worse on girls. I knew a family whose last name was Easton. It's a last name. There are so many first names out there, why do people insist on using surnames as first names?

That's how my mother named me.

I quite like Easton actually.
