[Prn. Ah-loo-ee-sa kind of. I rubbish at spelling these out!]
I think it's really pretty. It's the name of one of my friends [born 1990].

It's not listed on any babynames sites I've looked at, but I didn't think it was made up...

It reminds me of a name from around 1900. Many of those old names are fashoinable again. I am glad of that. Enough of Madysyns, McKenzies, and Taylors.

I think it's like Aloysius, so a variant of Louisa in this case.
