Name of a friend of mine: Nadia Lyre.

WDYT? I sorta like it as a middle name, like a more unique alternative to Lee, but when she first said it I thought she'd said Liar.

Her sister is Lyra Nadine, which I like (even though the match names thing is a bit weird).

Also met a guy named Vallen, and thought that was a pretty cool name.

I like Nadia and Nadine, but not Lyre and Lyra. You're right the matchiness of their names is weird.

Vallen sounds more like a surname than a first name to me.

Vallen sounds like villain and also valley. Which is odd. Villain seems bad, and valley makes me think of valley girls, so it's a weird combo.

Lyra Nadine is really prettym even though I'm not really into 'Nadine' =)
I'm Dutch, and the Dutch word for 'to fall' is 'vallen'. So that's a no =P

I quite like Vallen. I wouldn't use it but I like it!
