*Name idea*

I talked about it with my husband...and we love the name--for a girl--

Manessa

Pronouned--
Man-ssa

It was my mothers middle name, I had never heard of it before her. And I really want to carry on something from my mother!

That was my question, pronunciation. Either way, combining the words "man" and "ass," then adding an "a" to make it look like a feminine name...I would never do it. Maybe as a middle name of she really wants to carry on the name from her mother, but never as a first name for me.

I find that a lot of names actually sound very different with my accent. For instance, I'd never think of ass, because it's arse for us and sounds nothing like what's in the name, haha. Wacky accent antics!
